Will Winter Never End

Posted February 28th, 2011 by Cheryl

Hello all from the land of ice and snow this morning.  It is cold, snowing and blowing.  A perfect day to sit around and get some work done.  Sadly, I’m sure we will have many more days like this until spring actually arrives here.

Until then, I am going to work on putting a gallery of base yarns and colourways on this site.  It is the last step I need to do before I can start to accept wholesale accounts.  So if you are a retailer interested in carrying DyeCauldron Yarn please contact me for more information at cheryl@dyecauldron.com.  I’m looking forward to sharing the products brewed up in the cauldron.

After that it is off to create some more socks for the upcoming sock class at the end of March.  It is going to be a classic top down sock which is the perfect place to start when learning to knit socks.  We will discuss yarn, needles (pros and cons of  dpns and circulars), measuring for perfect fit , and the architecture of socks.  All this information should help even the beginner create a comfy sock.  I hope to see some of you here.
